The Sapphire Gemfields is host to two annual gem festivals, running concurrently on 8th, 9th and 10th August 2025. Gemfest Festival of Gems is in Anakie, while the Jewel of The Gemfields is in the town of Sapphire Central. A number of shop-front businesses also have their own promotions during the gem festivals.
