Watch this space for more details closer to the date, but here is a rough picture of what the day will entail: music or rhythm oriented workshops, ukulele demos and lessons, artisan markets, creative workshops. Food and drink will be available, and a licensed bar.

The markets usually start around Easter and finish around early December, depending on the weather.

Sundays 8am to 12pm
The markets will be organised by Gemfields Riding for the Disabled Inc. & Gemfields Lapidary & Craft Club. They will alternate each Sunday running their canteens.

Central Queensland's Sapphire Gemfields holds an annual festival called JEWEL OF THE GEMFIELDS, on the second Friday, Saturday and Sunday in August.
