From Emerald QLD, drive west (towards Longreach) about 40 minutes and you get to the crossroads, the intersection of Capricorn Highway and Anakie-Sapphire Road.

Opening hours are current at time of posting. These touring guides are for listed businesses only. The roads exiting/entering The Gemfields through Rubyvale are fully sealed along the Rubyvale-Capella Road to Capella (45 minutes) and Rubyvale- Clermont Road to Clermont (65 minutes). Take care on these roads as parts are winding, there are blind spots, as well as free-roaming cattle, kangaroos, wallabies, bettongs (kangaroo-rats), owls and brolgas. Travel safe through Central Queensland Highlands.
