The four localities of Anakie, Rubyvale, Sapphire and Willows make up our community of Sapphire Gemfields, in Central Queensland.
From Emerald QLD, drive west (towards Longreach) about 40 minutes and you get to the crossroads, the intersection of Capricorn Highway and Anakie-Sapphire Road.

The main roads exiting/entering Anakie, Sapphire and Rubyvale are fully sealed.
The Rubyvale-Capella Road is about 45 minutes' drive.
The Clermont-Rubyvale Road is about 65 minutes' drive.
From Anakie crossroads, Willows is about 30 minutes' drive. From main highway into Willows is gravel road.
Take care on our roads as there can be pot-holes, some winding roads creating blind spots, and free-roaming cattle, kangaroos, wallabies, bettongs (kangaroo-rats), owls and brolgas.
